1. 이 방침이 적용되는 범위
이 방침은 아말피(이하 "개발자")가 만든 Android 앱 「도마뱀 영단어」(이하 "앱")에 적용됩니다. 앱은 어린이를 포함한 모든 연령이 영어 단어를 공부하며 가상의 도마뱀을 키우는 교육용 게임입니다.
2. 기기에 저장되는 정보
앱은 게임을 이어서 할 수 있도록 다음 정보를 이용자의 기기 내부 저장소에만 저장합니다. 이 정보는 개발자나 다른 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 개발자는 이 정보에 접근할 수 없습니다.
- 처음 실행할 때 고른 나이 구간(예: 8~9살)과 단어 난이도 — 나이에 맞는 단어를 보여주기 위해서만 사용
- 공부 기록: 푼 단어, 맞힌 단어 수, 복습할 단어, 공부한 날짜
- 게임 기록: 도마뱀과 도마뱀 이름, 코인, 먹이, 집·꾸미기 아이템, 미니게임 최고 점수
- 설정: 효과음·배경음악·발음·진동·알림 켜기/끄기, 보호자가 정한 쉬는 시간 알림
- 가족 프로필: 한 기기에서 형제·자매가 따로 기록을 가질 수 있도록 프로필별로 저장하는 이름(별명)과 게임 기록
- 보호자 리포트용 기록: 날짜별 공부한 단어 수, 맞힌 수, 앱을 사용한 시간 — 보호자 메뉴의 7일 리포트를 보여 주기 위해서만 사용
도마뱀 이름은 기기 안에만 저장되며 다른 사람에게 공개되지 않습니다. 앱에는 채팅, 친구, 게시판 등 다른 이용자와 소통하는 기능이 없습니다.
3. 광고 (Google AdMob)
앱은 무료로 제공되며, 운영을 위해 Google LLC의 광고 서비스인 AdMob으로 광고를 보여줍니다. 광고는 출석 보상을 받을 때, 오늘의 공부를 마친 뒤 미니게임을 열 때, 틀린 문제를 다시 풀고 싶을 때처럼 정해진 순간에만 나오며, 단어를 푸는 도중에는 나오지 않습니다. (앱 버전에 따라 공부를 시작할 때 하루 한 번 전면 광고가 나올 수 있습니다.)
앱은 어린이가 사용할 수 있으므로 모든 광고 요청을 다음과 같이 설정합니다.
- 아동 대상 처리(COPPA) 및 동의 연령 미만 사용자 처리를 적용하여 관심 기반(맞춤형) 광고와 리마케팅을 하지 않습니다.
- 광고 콘텐츠 등급을 G(전체이용가)로 제한합니다.
- 앱은 광고 ID(Android Advertising ID) 권한을 사용하지 않습니다.
광고를 표시하는 과정에서 Google은 광고 전달, 노출 횟수 제한, 부정 클릭 방지, 광고 성과 집계를 위해 IP 주소, 기기 종류, 운영체제 버전, 앱 정보 같은 기술 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 이 처리는 Google의 정책에 따르며 개발자는 이 정보를 받거나 저장하지 않습니다.

4. 영어 발음 (음성 합성)
영어 단어 발음은 기기에 설치된 텍스트 음성 변환(TTS) 기능으로 재생합니다. 앱은 마이크를 사용하지 않으며 이용자의 목소리를 녹음하지 않습니다.
5. 앱이 사용하는 권한
- 인터넷, 네트워크 상태 확인: 광고를 불러오기 위해 사용합니다. 앱을 시작할 때 인터넷 연결을 확인하며, 연결되어 있지 않으면 와이파이나 모바일 데이터를 켜 달라는 안내가 나옵니다.
- 알림: 오늘의 공부 시간, 도마뱀이 배고플 때 등을 알려 주는 기기 안의 알림입니다. 알림은 앱이 기기 안에서 예약하며 서버에서 보내지 않습니다. 앱의 설정에서 끌 수 있습니다.
- 진동: 정답·오답 등을 진동으로 알려 줍니다. 앱의 설정에서 끌 수 있습니다.
- 그 밖에 광고 SDK가 광고 재생을 위해 쓰는 일반 권한(화면 켜짐 유지 등)이 포함될 수 있습니다. 이 권한으로 연락처, 사진, 위치, 전화번호 등의 개인정보를 읽지 않습니다.
앱은 위치, 카메라, 마이크, 연락처 등 민감한 권한을 요청하지 않으며, 기기에 있는 사진을 읽지 않습니다.
6. 사진 저장
앱의 사진 찍기 기능으로 만든 게임 화면 사진은 이용자가 저장을 누를 때에만 기기의 사진첩에 저장됩니다. 사진은 개발자나 다른 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.
7. 백업과 기록 옮기기
- Android의 자동 백업이 켜져 있으면, 기기 설정에 따라 게임 기록이 이용자 본인의 Google 계정 백업에 포함되어 새 기기로 복원될 수 있습니다. 이 백업은 Google이 이용자의 계정에 보관하며, 개발자는 접근할 수 없습니다.
- 보호자 메뉴의 기록 옮기기 코드는 게임 기록을 글자로 바꾼 것으로, 이용자가 직접 복사해서 새 기기에 붙여 넣을 때만 쓰입니다. 앱이 이 코드를 어디로도 보내지 않습니다.
8. 제3자 제공 및 판매
개발자는 이용자의 정보를 수집하지 않으므로 제3자에게 제공하거나 판매하지 않습니다. 3항의 광고 서비스(Google AdMob)를 제외한 분석 도구, 추적 도구, 소셜 로그인은 사용하지 않습니다.
9. 정보 삭제
기기에 저장된 모든 게임 기록은 다음 방법으로 언제든지 지울 수 있습니다.
- 앱의 설정 → 보호자 메뉴 → 기록 지우기
- 앱 삭제 (기기 저장소의 게임 기록도 함께 삭제됩니다)
10. 어린이와 보호자께
이 앱은 어린이가 안전하게 사용할 수 있도록 만들어졌으며 Google Play 가족 정책을 따릅니다. 어린이의 개인정보를 수집하지 않으며, 광고는 어린이에게 적합한 설정으로만 표시됩니다. 궁금한 점이나 요청이 있으시면 아래 연락처로 문의해 주세요.

Privacy Policy
Summary
- There is no account or sign-up. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or other personal information.
- Game data (lizards, coins, study records) is stored only on your device and is never sent to the developer.
- Ads are served by Google AdMob with child-directed settings: no personalized ads, and the advertising ID is not collected.
- There are no in-app purchases.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Android app "Lizard English" (the "App") made by Amalfi (the "Developer"). The App is an educational game for all ages, including children, in which players study English words and raise virtual lizards.
2. Information stored on your device
To let you continue your game, the App stores the following only in your device's local storage. It is not transmitted to the Developer or any server, and the Developer cannot access it.
- The age group selected at first launch (e.g. 8–9) and word difficulty — used only to show age-appropriate words
- Study records: words studied, number of correct answers, words to review, study dates
- Game records: lizards and their names, coins, food, houses and decorations, mini-game high scores
- Settings: sound effects, music, pronunciation, vibration and notifications on/off, and the break reminder set by a parent
- Family profiles: a nickname and separate game records for each profile, so siblings can share one device
- Records for the parent report: words studied, correct answers and time spent in the App per day — used only to show the 7-day report in the parent menu
Lizard names stay on the device and are never shown to other people. The App has no chat, friends, or other features for communicating with other users.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows ads through AdMob, an advertising service of Google LLC. Ads appear only at set moments — when claiming the daily attendance reward, when opening mini-games after finishing the day's study, and when the player chooses to retry a missed question — and never while answering questions. (Depending on the app version, one interstitial ad per day may appear when starting the daily study.)
Because children may use the App, every ad request is configured as follows:
- Child-directed treatment (COPPA) and under-the-age-of-consent treatment are applied, so no interest-based (personalized) advertising or remarketing is used.
- Ad content is limited to the G (General audiences) rating.
- The App does not use the Advertising ID permission.
To deliver ads, Google may process technical information such as IP address, device type, OS version and app information for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement. This processing is governed by Google's policies; the Developer does not receive or store this information.

4. English pronunciation (text-to-speech)
Word pronunciation is played using your device's built-in text-to-speech engine. The App does not use the microphone and does not record your voice.
5. Permissions
- Internet and network state: used to load ads. The App checks the internet connection when it starts and, if there is none, asks the player to turn on Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Notifications: local reminders such as study time or a hungry lizard. They are scheduled on the device by the App, not sent from a server, and can be turned off in the App's settings.
- Vibration: short vibrations for right and wrong answers. Can be turned off in the App's settings.
- Other normal permissions used by the ads SDK to play ads (such as keeping the screen awake) may be included. They are not used to read contacts, photos, location, phone numbers or other personal information.
The App does not request sensitive permissions such as location, camera, microphone or contacts, and it does not read photos on the device.
6. Saving pictures
Screenshots of the game made with the App's photo feature are saved to the device's photo gallery only when the player taps save. They are never sent to the Developer or any server.
7. Backup and moving records
- If Android Auto Backup is on, game records may be included in the user's own Google account backup, depending on device settings, and restored on a new device. Google keeps this backup in the user's account; the Developer cannot access it.
- The record transfer code in the parent menu is the game record turned into text. It is used only when the user copies it and pastes it on a new device; the App never sends it anywhere.
8. Sharing and sale
Because the Developer does not collect your information, it is not shared with or sold to third parties. Apart from the advertising service in section 3, the App uses no analytics, tracking tools or social login.
9. Deleting your data
You can delete all game data stored on your device at any time by:
- In the App: Settings → Parent menu → Delete records (설정 → 보호자 메뉴 → 기록 지우기)
- Uninstalling the App (game data on the device is removed as well)
10. Children and parents
The App is designed to be safe for children and follows the Google Play Families Policy. It does not collect children's personal information, and ads are shown only with child-appropriate settings. Parents or guardians with questions or requests can contact us below.
11. Changes
If this policy needs to change because the App's features change, we will post the changes and the new effective date on this page.
